Due to the completely custom nature of every insert project we require a deposit of $250 to begin this service.

From sharing your product specs to receiving your final insert design, here’s how we’ll work together to create packaging that fits and protects your products.

Send Us Your Product
To design the most accurate insert, we’ll need your product in hand so we can measure and test it directly.
Don’t worry, we’ll return everything once the project is complete. Just let us know if you have a specific timeline for getting your items back.

Prototyping Begins
Your dedicated account manager will work closely with one of our Kansas City–based structural designers to create an insert tailored to your product.
At this stage, we’ll focus on both protection and presentation, making sure your items are secure during transit and look great when customers unbox them.

Step 3
Feedback & Revisions
Once you’ve reviewed the initial design, you’ll have up to three revision cycles included in your project. This gives you the flexibility to fine-tune your insert until it’s just right.
Examples of revisions include:
- Adjusting product placement (alignment or layout)
- Changing the size of the outer box
- Updating the orientation of items (such as rotating them sideways)
Our team can accommodate additional rounds of revisions at an added cost.

Step 4
Proofing & Artwork Approval
When your prototype is finalized, we’ll send you custom dielines (precise templates for your insert design). You can use these to add your branding, messaging, and illustrations so the final product reflects your vision.
Our graphics team will deliver a proof within 1–3 business days for your review. Once you approve the proof, we’ll move your design into production.

Final Approval & Production
Once you give your final approval, we’ll move your custom inserts into production. For eligible orders, the process typically takes 10–12 business days from sign-off to printing, cutting, and fulfillment.
We’ll keep you updated every step of the way so you know exactly when to expect your inserts.
